DESCRIPTION
Choose C5 or C6.
R1 High Carbon Alloy Geomet Series Drilled Rotors provide the ultimate stopping power needed for demanding driving and harsh conditions. Manufactured using more Carbon, Chromium and Molybdenum, these High Carbon rotors offer increased braking performance and strength. A center split core casting provides greater stability. Geomet Coating protects against rust while extending rotor life. Mill balancing and double disc grinding reduces thickness variations for smoother stopping, minimal vibration and improved break-in.
This premium line of brake rotors can be used for street performance, track, off-roading, towing, and hauling.
Diamond Slotted rotors remove brake and road debris and prevent pad glazing, extending the life of the pad and the rotor. The diamond tipped ends provide an indicator for rotor replacement. When the tips are gone, rotor replacement is necessary.
Break in Procedure
Please be advised that when you first receive the rotors, they are completely covered with the silver zinc coating. During the initial embedding process, the silver zinc coating on the braking surface, the area where the pads come in contact with the rotors will wear off, leaving only the hub an inner vane structure coated.
