C1 1953-1962 Corvette Brake Shoe Hardware Kit - Rear

Restore safe, consistent braking performance with a rear brake shoe hardware kit for the 1953–1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1. This essential kit includes the springs, retainers, clips, and adjuster components required to properly secure and operate the rear brake shoes within the drum assembly. Over time, original hardware can lose tension, corrode, or fail—leading to poor brake performance, uneven wear, and noise. Replacing worn hardware is critical when servicing drum brakes to ensure proper function and reliability.

Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this rear brake shoe hardware kit is designed for a precise fit and dependable operation. Complete kits are engineered to restore correct brake shoe return action and alignment, helping maintain consistent braking pressure and smooth operation. Often sold as an axle set, these kits provide all necessary components for a full rear brake service, making them ideal for restorations or routine maintenance.
