Restore the functionality and factory-correct operation of your Corvette’s rear storage compartment with this 1979-1982 Chevrolet Corvette Rear Compartment Unit Door Strap Limit Kit. Designed to prevent the rear compartment doors from opening beyond their intended range of motion, this 2-piece kit helps protect the compartment doors, hinges, and surrounding trim from unnecessary stress and damage. Over time, original limit straps can become stretched, brittle, damaged, or broken, allowing excessive door travel that can lead to wear and misalignment.
Manufactured to OEM specifications for fit and performance, this reproduction door strap limit kit restores proper door movement and helps maintain the integrity of your Corvette's rear storage compartment. Whether you're completing an interior restoration, replacing worn compartment hardware, or repairing damaged storage doors, this kit provides the factory-style function and appearance Corvette enthusiasts expect.
