DESCRIPTION
Our Wheels go through the most extensive “Triple-Plating” process available. If taken care of properly, they will last as long as you own them.
We offer a Limited 3 Year Chrome Warranty on all GM chrome exchange or OEM reproduction one-piece wheels, to the original purchaser, against defects in chrome workmanship. If, under the terms of the warranty, if any of our wheels peels or flakes, simply return it to our California location and we will replace it or re-plate it.
The warranty covers the front surfaces of the wheel only. We do not offer any warranty on the backside or barrel of the wheel. Customer will pay all shipping costs on warranty claims. The warranty does require you to properly care for the products.
Proper care consists of simple soap and water to clean, and on occasion, a mild non-abrasive car wax for shine. We highly recommend using a soft bristle wheel brush to access the corners and hard to reach areas as these are the spots most prone to failure. Once salt or brake dust gets into these areas, corrosion is quick to follow and this is not covered under the warranty.
QUICK FACTS
Never use harsh chemicals or cleaners, as you will probably scratch the finish.
Although chrome plating is a durable and lasting surface, we do not recommend driving in ice or snow that has been salt treated. Salt & brake dust are very corrosive substances and will corrode not only the chrome, but also the aluminum.
If these conditions are unavoidable, we highly suggest thoroughly cleaning the surface as soon as possible. Brake dust is also corrosive & must be cleaned frequently to avoid damage to the chrome. Make sure to clean your wheels thoroughly before storing it away for the winter. Salt & brake dust corrosion is not covered under this warranty.
Improper mounting, as well as improper care, will void the warranty. For any warranty questions or claims, please contact your sales representative.
Installation
Before mounting tires to the wheels, check brake, hub, fender and suspension clearance.
Mounted wheels cannot be returned.
Mount tires onto wheels only with equipment specifically designed for alloy wheels.
Do not use equipment that will scratch, scrape or abrade the wheels. This will void the warranty.
Wheel adapters and spacers are not recommended. If installed, the purchaser assumes all responsibility and liability.
Use only self adhesive tape weights when balancing. The use of clip on style weights is not recommended as they can damage the wheel finish and void the warranty.
Always use the correct type of lug nut.
Always use the vehicle manufacturer's recommended torque specifications when tightening lug nuts.
Re-torque the lug nuts after 75-100 miles of driving.
C5-C6 Corvette - additional installation procedures Corvettes manufactured from 1997 on, except some Z06 models, are equipped with EXTENDED MOBILITY (Run Flat) tires and a LOW TIRE PRESSURE (LTP) monitoring system.
If so equipped, the LTP sensor is attached to the valve stem. LTP sensors are positional and must be reinstalled to positions where they were originally located i.e. if the sensor was installed in the wheel located on the right front, it must be returned to the right front. LTP sensors are not marked as to the wheel position they must be installed at (LF, RF, LR, RR) be careful to note the original wheel position of each sensor.
When dismounting tires do not break the tire down at the valve stem, damage to the LTP sensor will result. Instead rotate the valve stem 180 degrees away from the tire de-beading tool before breaking down the tire. Care & Maintenance
Keeping your wheels clean on a continual (weekly) basis is the best way to maintain their "like new" finish and luster.
Never clean your wheels while they are hot.
Water and a mild non-abrasive cleaner is the best solution for cleaning your wheels.
A good rule of thumb to follow when selecting a cleaning solution is, if it is not safe for the paint on your vehicle it is probably not safe for your wheels.
Applying a coat of non-abrasive carnauba based auto wax after cleaning is all the protection your wheels should need.
Update your 1988-2005 Corvette with these Black 2009 C6Z06 Style Spyder style reproduction wheels, Chrome.
These wheels accept the factory TPM Sensor like the orignal wheel.
Wheels sold individually.
NOTE: The Z06 Spyder, 18x8.5 / 19x10 wheel package will require a 1/8" spacer when used with the brake caliper covers.
