David from Illinois sends these great pictures of his 2005 Machine Silver Coupe with scissor-style vertical doors and some other tasteful upgrades that have earned this car a few trophies as Best in Class. David writes: "Corvettes were my dream car, after 22 yrs serving the country in the military is was time for me to fulfill my dream. When I retired in 1997 I bought my first corvette - a 1995 coupe, polo green. In 2005 I traded it for this one. I have won few trophies on shows as BEST in the Class. The modifications I have done are installed a Corsa exhaust system, change brake rotors and installed vertical doors."
Taking a look at the pictures, it's not hard to see why this coupe has caught the judge's eye and brought home the blue ribbon. And with that C6 exhaust, it probably has a nice tone to turn heads on the street too.
