Scott sent us these great pictures of his 2000 Magnetic Red Convertible Corvette with a list of modifications, simply writing, "I love this car!" And it definitely shows in the pictures. To this lucky, well-loved 'Vette, Scott added a cold air intake, a Corsa Touring exhaust with Protips, ZO6 style wheels wrapped in Nitto Extreme tires, a custom console cover, and a Hirise hood.
Ray P. sent us these pictures of his 2003 Anniversary Edition ZO6. Ray is the manager of a local shop that is well regarded, and sponsors local SCCA events and competitors, so it's no surprise that his ZO6 is impressive both inside and out.
His ZO6 came with a factory option black rally strip on the hood that he says really makes it stand out from the crowd. The interior is black with red accents. On the outside, his ZO6 is sporting a set of Cray Scorpion wheels and Euro-style front turn signal lenses. Under the bonnet, mods include a Vaaram intake system, a BBK 80mm throttle body with a BBK intake manifold, a Granatelli MAF sensor, a Corsa exhaust, custom tuning, a line lock kit, and a 160 degree thermostat. The last dyno run reported this ZO6 is putting 450HP down to the wheels and the 1/4 mile time is 12.3 seconds.
This ZO6 is smokin' - both in its appearance and performance.
Randy B. sent us this head-on shot of his 2001 LS1 Red Corvette Coupe. (We think it's Torch red, but the picture makes it a bit hard to tell if it's metallic.) But with that hood we were seriously intrigued as to what might be under there. Randy sent us just a few tantalizing bits of information along with the picture to get our imagination going: 5.7, carbon fiber, cowl induction, rear spoiler, screen kits. So if you see this Corvette on the road, or at the track, send us a quarter mile time, will ya? We're dying of curiosity here - and you will be too, once you scroll down and see the pictures. This is one bad looking 'Vette - thanks Randy for the pic!
Gary L. was kind enough to send us pictures of his 2002 Red C5 Coupe from Vegas, in front of the spectacular backdrop of the Alainte Golf Course. According to Gary, this spotless C5 drove across from California into the heat of the desert without a single hiccup - and since coming into his ownership, he's kept this classic red Corvette just that - classicly stock, except for the air filter.
He fills us in with a short bio of the car: "[My Corvette's] in great shape - I keep it that way. I'm the number two owner - it came from California to Vegas, in one piece. 74,000 miles and running like a charm - or should I say clock? I bought her at Desert Honda from a friend that works there. I put a little into her but nothing to the engine but the air filter that's all K&N. It makes a difference, but not that much. She is one of the prettiest cars I have ever had. My girlfriend just loves to drive it."
With a car like that, in a place that scenic - well, who wouldn't love to drive it? Though we have to agree - she's got great taste in cars. And no, we're not biased at all ....
These pictures from Bill F. sent the pictures of his classic red C5 Z06 with the fall foliage in the background are really fun to look at - especially when you get to the close up of the logo and realize this is an anniversary edition. Simply spectacular! After asking him for a few more details about the car, he wrote a little bit about the car's history for us:
"I'm the second owner of this torch red 50th Anniversary Z06. According to the paperwork, it was purchased new from Maxie Price Chevrolet outside Atlanta. I found the for sale ad online and after a few emails back and forth with the owner, I went to Duluth, GA to see it in person. All it took was a ten-minute test ride. After a lengthy visit to a local Atlanta bank, I drove it back to Oak Ridge that afternoon.
Not that I have ever jumped on it on public roadways (always abide by the law, kids) but I can tell you, even with Active Handling and Traction Control on, it will break loose in second gear almost as easily as first - not by reving it up and dumping the clutch, but by simply pressing the right foot! I'm guessing that the guys who claim to run mid to low 12s must really be practicing their launch. With Traction Control off and rpms up, it will break loose in third at 70mph, which makes for one heck of a passing gear.
The Z06 handles just as well as it accelerates. For all but the mildly insane, the car will easily handle curves faster than most drivers are willing to take it. I think it looks pretty good, too. I routinely get compliments and am often asked what year it is. I don't think that many regular folks know the difference between the Z06 and a regular Corvette. Having owned two other Corvettes, a 1996 coupe and a 1998 coupe, I know there is a huge difference."
We think you'll agree, after looking at the pictures, that there's a huge difference too. This is one gorgeous Z06 that is guaranteed to turn heads everywhere it goes.

Terry G. from Vancouver Canada sends us these pictures of his C4 with the following bio -
"1991 white convertible Corvette, 5.7 liter engine stock suspension and tires.
Owned for 1 year. (Editor's note - as of April 2009).
Bought out of Michigan in the United States.
Only 80,000 miles. "

I have never done any official racing of my ‘baby’, I’ve had my fair share of fun. Let me just share with you how she came to live in my garage….
My first recollection of any Corvette occurred when I was only 4 or 5 years old. My babysitter took me for a walk around the neighborhood and as we passed what I now know was a ’68 or ’69 Stingray. I stopped dead in my tracks while the babysitter kept walking. She must’ve been nearly half a block down the street before she realized that I wasn’t still by her side. She came running back and with a frightened look on her face asked just what the heck was I doing? I remember that I simply replied, “What kinda car is this?!” Because I wasn’t old enough to read yet she squatted down and, running her finger under the chrome lettering, said, “S-T-I-N-G-R-A-Y.” From that moment on I just knew that some day I would own one.
Now, some 34 years later, when faced with the decision of what to replace my diesel-hog, 1 ton, 4- door dually with, my wife reminded me that I had always wanted a Corvette. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing but wasn’t about to argue! LOL The truck sold in just under a week and I found myself looking for a car in earnest. I shopped all the local lots and drove several privately owned ‘vettes and just couldn’t believe how people had mistreated my dream machine!
Finally, I turned to the internet where I found my baby. She was living in Chicago and after about a month of email and phone correspondence, decided that I just had to fly up and she her for myself. The previous owners said that I wouldn’t be disappointed and they were right. Actually, they liked me so much that they lowered the price, knowing that the car was going to a good home. I drove the 600 miles home that night through a never ending thunderstorm and that’s when we fell in love. Sure, she got a little squirrelly when we hit a puddle at 60mph but she corrected herself quickly and never missed a beat (can’t say the same for my heart).
The next morning I got up early and set out detailing her, relieving her of all the highway we had accumulated the previous night. Once she was back to “showroom” clean we went for our first top-out drive under a clear blue sky. Man was she gorgeous!! Sure, nothing can replace the feelings that you get the first time you climb behind the wheel of an American legend, but I have gotta say….After 2 years, I still get that same thrill every time we go for a cruise (occasionally blowing the doors of some stupid little Japanese “Hot-Wheels” wannabe), and she still turns plenty of heads as I grin ear to ear!

Jodi M. from Washington sent us these great pictures of her husband's Stingray with a great narrative about her husband's love for his 'Vette.
She writes:
"This is my husband's car that he loves oh sooooo much, in fact he parks it on his vacuumed carpet in the garage.
It's a Daytona Yellow Corvette 1969, all original. All numbers match, 427 with side pipes, huge notebook full of everything about the cars history - pretty amazing actually ....
Anyway my husband has no idea that I'm sending these pics - nor does anyone else for that matter - but they were taken a week ago of my sweet daughter Makena (8 months old) & her best girlfriends Ivy (10 months) and Ava (6 months).
Nothing like Hot Babes...on Hot Rods!
Thanks for your time!
Enjoy I sure did."
Indeed there's nothing like Hot Babes on Hot Rods Jodi. Thanks for sending these along!

Al S. sends us a picture of his gorgeous 2005 C6 with a few tantalizing notes on the car's biography. According to Al, it's a loaded 2005 C6 with the Z51 package. He also added BFG KDW tires and a B&B Bullets exhaust. This beautiful C6 has only 22,000 miles and graced the front of a 2008 Corvette calendar. Doesn't it look like one you'd like to have in your driveway?

Nick F sent us a few pictures of his brand new 2009 Cyber Gray Z06 which, at the time these pictures were taken, was stock and waiting on a list of tasteful cosmetic mods. After all, why mess (too much) with perfection?
He writes:
"Hi guys, my name is Nick F... Here's a few pictures of my 2009 ZO6.
It's a 2009 Corvette ZO6 in Cyber Grey with Ebony interior.
It's a 2LZ package with factory Chrome Spider Wheels and DVD Nav.
It's all stock (so far) running a 7.0L - 427
Up to now, all 5 of my Corvettes have all been convertibles.
What a way to jump into a coupe, a ZO6!
I am doing cosmetics to it, so far, I've ordered and due in any day now:
427 emblems for the hood, 427 emblems for the fuel rail covers,
full Cyber Grey rear spoiler, and Engine Id plate for under the hood,
and a Mild-To-Wild switch for the NPP exhaust, and
Lloyd Ebony front and cargo mats.
This is one awesome machine to drive :)"

Great view of a classic car in a classic color
Ed S. from Phoenix, Arizona sent us some awesome pics of his 2008 Black on Black C6 Z06 - "BLEW X U". Ed is also a proud member of Arizona Corvette Enthusiasts (or "ACE" for short).
The pictures of this smokin' hot Z06 are great, so we'll just let them do the talking.

Taking a look at the pictures, it's not hard to see why this coupe has caught the judge's eye and brought home the blue ribbon. And with that C6 exhaust, it probably has a nice tone to turn heads on the street too.
]]>Mike from Georgia sent us these pictures of his Corvette which were taken both before and after the National Corvette Homecoming Reunion in 2008, held in Bowling Green Kentucky, where his Velocity Yellow Corvette took 1st place in the 2005-2007 Show/Stock category. At the time, his appearance modifications included: a Velocity Yellow windshield decal, fender badges (LS2/400HP), Velocity Yellow taillight louvres, a matte black dual logo exhaust filler plate, black rear bumper insert letters, Velocity Yellow dash/airbag insert letters, crossed flags heat seat to hood insulator pad, and a Z51 decal on his rear bumper.
Jeff writes: "Here is a picture of my 2007 C-6 Convertible with the new Z06 style wheels. It's a super improvement over the factory alloys. I get compliments daily!
The Vette is LeMans Blue, ebony interior, LS2 engine, and is located in ... North Carolina. .... The only mods I've done are the wheels. Why mess with perfection!"
Why mess with perfection indeed.

We're very grateful that Chris sent us these pictures of his father-in-law's brand new, just off the line Corvette - and not just because it's a 2009 ZR1 Corvette. (Oh, okay - so maybe we're lying, just a smidge.) Just delivered by truck to his father-in-law's house in Maryland, this blue beauty is the proud possession of "Chris Chubby" - and we have to say, we're a little jealous. This ZR1 was hand-assembled and boasts a 638-hp LS9 6.2 liter V8 engine. Since the car arrived just before Christmas, it's likely this was one of the first ones off the line ... Thanks Chris for sending these along!
The LS9 engine is a work of art
The sleek many-spoked style of the ZR1 wheel is unique among 'Vettes, and sure to turn heads

This 2005 Corvette C6 Daytona Sunset Orange Convertible with the Z51 suspension package and a lot of custom work hails from sunny Florida. The owner, Bo W., writes:
"It was three years old on Halloween with 10,500 miles. It is not a daily driver, just enjoyed on weekends and at car shows. This car has the Daytona Sunset Orange paint, cashmere interior with the black convertible top. It has the Z-51 suspension package and navigation system. The wheels were the stock wheels that have been blacked chrome. The interior has the colored coated console and dash bezel to match the car. The underhood was painted to match the car by Orangeman Custom Cars of Panama City. It has a Hurricane air induction system and Corsa exhaust system. We love to ride and enjoy the sunny days with the top down in Florida. "
Black on Orange - and with true blackened chrome wheels!
As stunning on the inside as on the outside
They say a picture is worth a thousand words ... Pallie E. didn't write anything, just sent us a picture of this flamin' hot 'Vette with a custom paint job.
We asked for some sort of a car narrative, but apparently Pallie was feeling mysterious, because we never got a reply.
So there's no car bio, but there's a nice pic ... we challenge you to come up with your own creative story.

Mike N. from Orlando Florida sent us some great pictures of his customized 99 hardtop C5 - and his equally customized (and enviable) garage.
He writes:
"When GM announced the return of the hardtop I just knew then that I was going to purchase one. We searched all of Central Florida and South Florida dealers for the color pewter. Over the years I added several bolt on parts to increase horse power. Under the hood is completely custom painted and chromed."
Mike N's custom C5 hardtop boasts custom details including exterior and underhood paint, bolt-ons for power and accents like rear insert letters and chrome Z06 wheels for show-winning style
A custom Corvette, a lift, plenty of storage space - Mike N's garage is completely stocked
An American Masterpiece, Indeed.

He writes:
"The car was acquired from a club member who fell in love with the 1996 Grand Sport and was looking to unload the C5 for a heck of a deal, needless to say my kind of deal. The 1999 C5 has Z06 exhaust, Predator Programmed and 33,000 miles. I still enjoy my 1970 C3 Convertible."

"Hi - My name is Gregory ... I live in Kapolei, Hawaii, 19 years old and have a 98 black C5 'Vette.
The car only has a few mods, SLP H-pipe, SLP MAF, and blackout tail lights.
I have always been into F-bodys ever since I could drive and had a few trans ams, but came across this 'Vette and picked it up soon after.
Me and my dad have a small battle going on between my 'Vette and his GTO but its all good fun.
I am one day hoping to get a Z06 which is probably my biggest dream car."

Apparently Craig E. is a man of few words, which is cool by us. We received his email with nothing in it except for the photo of his red C5, which you can see below. And since we believe any Corvette is a Corvette worth admiring, we thought we'd share the picture that Craig sent to us.
Craig E.'s C5 has "suicide" doors, clear corners, and mesh front inserts from what we can see....
Some of our customers, Chas & Jill W., bought a Pypes C5 Violator Exhaust for his red '02 Vert from us and they were kind enough to send us a few pics of the system installed.
Chas reports, "The exhaust went on with just a little work. The original system had to be cut off, but the new one went on ok. It looks badass, and sounds great, no drone."

Barrett K. sent us these pictures of his newest possession - a classic magnetic red '99 C5 in pristine condition.
He writes:
