Product Description

Valve Stem Mount Style. When you're switching or upgrading wheels on your 2001 - 2004 C5 or C5 Z06*, this kit of valve-stem mounted TPMS sensors is just what you need. Instead of reusing your old sensors or paying the dealer hundreds for new ones, this kit ensures you can keep your safety feature intact. No more annoying warning lights!

Big Savings! Don't shell out upwards of $200 per sensor at your dealership when you can buy our kit and save hundreds.

Complete Kit. This complete set of 4 valve-stem mounted sensors is compatible with our hand-held TPMS tool (sold separately) that allows you to sync your Corvette's computer with the new sensors quickly and easily. This tool is helpful in getting your new sensors to work, and makes what used to be a complicated process take only minutes!

Instructions on How to Sync Sensors - C5

  1. Ensure your tires are inflated to OEM specified pressures (found in your owner's manual).
  2. Turn ignition to ON position, with engine off.
  3. Press RESET button on the DIC in order to clear any warning messages.
  4. Press and release OPTIONS button until display is blank.
  5. Press and hold RESET button for 3 seconds.
  6. Press and release the OPTIONS button until the TIRE TRAINING is displayed.
  7. Press and release the RESET button until the message LEARN LEFT FRONT TIRE is displayed.
  8. Hold your handheld TPMS tool against your driver's side front tire's sidewall and point the antenna directly towards the valve stem.
  9. Hold down the left button on the TPMS button until your horn honks.
  10. The horn honking tells you the vehicle has registered that tire's sensor.
  11. Move to the passenger side front tire and repeat the procedure.
  12. Move to the passenger side rear tire and repeat.
  13. Finish with the driver side rear tire. The horn should sound twice indicating the vehicle is programmed.
  14. You may now remove your key.

Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors.

By rotating your tires you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your cars computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.

*Tech note: C5 Z06 was not equipped with a TPMS system from the factory. You do not need to replace your TPMS sensors unless you have added a TPMS system to your vehicle.
