RAM Powergrip Corvette Clutch (97-11 C5, C5 Z06, C6, C6 Grand Sport, C6 Z06)

Street, Strip, Track. Your modified dual purpose street & strip 'Vette needs a clutch that gives you holding power for aggressive street driving and occasional drag runs, but doesn't make driving your 'Vette a "drag" on the street. Not many clutches deliver that balance, but the RAM Powergrip is the perfect choice. Some chatter will occur on takeoff, but this clutch is the best choice for your modified street/strip 'Vette.

Superior Design & Construction. The RAM Powergrip Performance pressure plate features increased clamp loads and a unique blend of RAM's 900 and 300 series organic friction materials. The combination of these friction materials helps deliver a clutch with the holding power you need that still maintains good street driveability with minimal chatter.

Supports 550HP. The RAM HDX clutch is recommended to support up to 550HP, so it's best for moderately modified 'Vettes.

Tech Notes:

• *05+ Corvettes must combine this clutch with a RAM billet steel flywheel or billet aluminum flywheel (sold separately).
• RAM strongly recommends using a billet steel flywheel or factory nodular iron (explosion-resistant) flywheel with this clutch.
• Works with factory hydraulics (01+). Extreme flywheel wear/resurfacing may require a RAM adjustable master cylinder.
• Clutch is not compatible with Tremec transmissions.
