This lower gear ration will greatly improve the performance of your stock or modified 1997-2004 C5 or Z06 Corvette!
The standard automatic trans. gear ratio is 2.73 and the performance option is 3.15. This 3.42 ratio out of the 2001-2004 Z06 Corvette 6-speed, will provide a noticable performance increase in acceleration and with the C5 Corvette overdrive transmission, will only slightly reduce fuel mileage by 1-2 MPG. Not a bad sacrifice for this kind of performance gain!
