2009 Corvette Overview
The 2009 Corvette is sure to please many car aficionados - especially those that have a heavy right foot. This is because the King is regaining his hill with the new Corvette. The all-new ZR1 with the LS9 engine will be the top model of the Corvette available, leaving just about any other car including a Lamborghini in the dust. The ZR1 with its 6.2L Supercharged V-8 will pump out 620+ HP! The ZR1 will surely be the King of the Hill with its many advanced technologies that are also incorporated into the 2009 Z06 like the improved upon dry sump oil system.
Other changes will become more prominent as the production of this model year begins. But with the introduction of the ZR1 don't expect any drastic changes in the base or Z06 models as the engineers at Chevy have already given the C6 a new base motor, the LS3, that will carry over for at least the next couple of years.
