1995 Corvette Overview
The Convertible Corvette was chosen as the Indy 500 pace car in 1995 and received a special purple and white paint job with Indy 500 graphics on the side. 1995 was also the last production year of the ZR-1 with a total of 6,939 being built over its six year run. Chevy also changed their design for the fender gills in 1995 and also redesigned their windshield wipers to reduce noise at high speeds. The previous option of larger brakes became standard this year as well as the newest anti-lock braking and traction control systems. The interior once again was offered only in leather this year.
