1993 Corvette Overview
The 40th Anniversary of the Corvette brought about a special edition package with a Ruby Red metallic paint job and matching Ruby Red leather interior. Not only did the 40th Anniversary Corvette receive a special color but also received embroidered headrests and badges above the vent gills and hood.
Corvette also tweaked both its LT1 and LT5 engines to get more power out of them, with the LT1 seeing an increase to 340lb-ft of torque and the LT5 increasing its power out-put to 405hp and 385lb-ft of torque. The base model Corvettes received a 1” smaller wheel width while the ZR-1 kept its beefy 11” wide wheels.
