1991 Corvette Overview
1991 marked the last year for the Callaway TT Corvette, but also brought about some changes to the base model that were offered the previous year on the ZR-1. Changes made across the board were the convex rear end with rectangular brake lights, a new front end that offered wrap around parking lights and vented side panels. The base model also received a new saw blade style of wheels.
These changes to the base Corvette made it challenging to decipher between LT5 powered ZR-1 and the L98 powered base model, both excellent American muscle cars. This also made some ZR-1 owners unhappy due to lack of receiving any special badge appearing on their $64,000 purchase.
